Emergency Help

Rosie Needs Your Financial Help to Heal Faith

On July 28th, 2010, Faith a beautiful 1-1/2 yr old female yellow lab-x came into Rosie's care. Faith was flown into Montreal from a Northern community by a good samaritan as she needed surgery as soon as possible or her life was going to be ended. Her eye was ''hanging'', her ear was cut and during her spay - it was found that she was at the beginning of a pregnancy. Dr. Lawlor and Dr. Dicks of Pierrefonds Animal Hospital performed the surgery. The enucleation of the eye was done, her ear was sutured and she was spayed. Faith arrived with a collar to which was attached a rigid electrical wire. She was obviously a chained dog and this wire could have damaged her eye..... All we know is that this was caused by trauma. Saving Faith has come to a great expense to Rosie - pls help Rosie with her medical bill.

This year we have had exceptionally high veterinary expenses due to a number of unexpected events. The main items have been four major surgeries and treatment of dogs who have been surrendered to us with parvo. These are obviously expenses over and above the normal costs of making sure we provide healthy dogs for adoption.

These are dogs who would not have had a second chance if Rosie had not stepped in to care for them, which is why we took them on, but we cannot sustain these costs without help.

We want to continue to help these "last chance dogs", please support us so we can save more of these unfortunate dogs.
