About Rosie Animal Adoption
Rosie Animal Adoption was founded in 2001 by two friends who met while volunteering at animal shelters. They combined their passion and experience to create an independent organization with one mission: finding homes for dogs in need.
Unlike many organizations, we are not a shelter and we are not affiliated with any other welfare or humane groups. This independence makes our work harder, but it also keeps us true to our mission.
The Story of Rosie
Rosie, our beloved mascot, inspired the creation of Rosie Animal Adoption. She was rescued at just two months old from homelessness, with a pierced eye and little hope for survival.
Rosie lived a full and cherished life, crossing the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 12. Her spirit continues to guide our work and reminds us why every life matters.
