Lance’s happily ever after

Hi Rosie's,
We adopted our dog from you guys years ago and thought it would be nice to send you guys an update! I recently stumbled accross old photos of when we first got him and I can't believe how far he's come! We adopted Lance (sheltie X) from you in 2005 when he was 3 years old. Very underweight, nervous and scared.. I fell in love with him at first sight! I still remember spending his first night at our house sleeping on the floor next to his crate. It took quite a while before he broke through his nervousness and fear of pretty much everything. But he was the easiest dog I've ever encountered. Training him was a breeze and has never done anything wrong towards us. He has the sweetest temperament towards people as well as other dogs. Once he overcame his past..Lance became the happiest dog I've ever met. He was just a bundle of energy and joy. He's truly an incredible dog who's been there with me through everything and I couldn't imagine my life without him. Now, at 14years old Lance is still the same ball of energy and joy. He's slowed down a bit, but nothing makes him happier than going for a run in the park and playing tug of war with his favourite toys. Nobody he meets can believe that he is 14... He is such a positive and youthful soul. If it wasn't for the people at Rosie's Lance never would have been rescued and gotten the second chance he truly deserved. Thank you to the team and foster family he had! He is the perfect dog for us and we are the perfect family for him! Hopefully he still has a few years here with us ❤️
Here are some photos of Lance 10 years apart (left at 4 years and right at 14) As well as some other photos I wanted to share!
