Bake sale a success!

Rosie’s would like to acknowledge the thoughtful efforts of Abby, Chloe, Grace, Hailey and Vanessa who held a bake sale to raise funds for the homeless dogs. The girls held the bake sale at the adoption clinic which made the event much sweeter. Congratulations girls on such a successful idea! With many thanks from the Rosie volunteers.

Emergency Help

Rupert the chocolate poodle mix

Hi, my name is Rupert! I am a male Chocolate poodle-x and I’m about 1 yr old. Thanks to Rosie Animal Adoption, I’m doing better now than I did during the first year of my life, I can’t speak to tell them what happened to me in the past, but it is evident to them that it wasn’t nice.

Rosie’s saved me from the gas chamber at the pound, even though they had to pay a fee, but they feel it was a small price to pay because my life was worth it! All that happened is behind me now.... I have been given a new leash on life. When I first arrived at Rosie's, Mona shaved me since I had not been groomed, then Linda brought me to Pierrefonds where I was examined and then put into isolation. You see, I have a few medical problems which need to fixed, but then I will be ready to go to a real home.

I want to be loved and treated with kindness, compassion, and respect which I have lacked. I need to be fed regularly, walked, groomed and bought to the vets if I am sick. And now I have a chance for my wishes to be fulfilled.

I wish Rosie could do something to change in the laws about animal neglect and abuse but they cannot do it alone, more people need to come forward to draw the government’s attention to what is happening. What Rosie’s can do is save dogs in the same situation as me, but this does not come free, there are many medical expenses associated with saving dogs with problems like mine.

Please consider donating any amount, small or large if you can, to Rosie so that they can keep saving little guys like me.
