Trudy the Pug-x

About Trudy

Big thank you goes out to Rose at: www.refugerr.org for rescuing Trudy and transferring her to Rosie even though it is not their mission to rescue dogs!

Hello my name is Trudy. I am a 4 years old pug mix of 15 pounds. Everyone says I am the cutest ever. I am full of energy, very playful and I give the best kisses! Oh and wait, I can’t get enough of cuddles. I am still a little nervous but the future is brighter and I know it. You see I belonged to a hoarder who did not do a lot of socialization with me. For this reason we cannot adopt Trudy to a family with young kids. I am also clean in the house. I love sitting and looking out the window. For the moment I am not a big barker but this can easily change. I can’t wait to be part of your family.

Trudy needs the company of a well balanced dog in her new home. Trudy has found her voice so no condos or appartments

R.A.A. does not guarantee the breed or the temperament of the dog listed in this contract. Breed listing and description is based on R.A.A.'s own experience with the dog. The information indicated is what we have personally evaluated as to breed and temperament of this dog while under our care. We are not responsible for wrongly labeling a breed. As to an error in temperament, understand that we have evaluated the dog to the best of our knowledge and this is not an exact science. If any concerns, we strongly encourage you to contact a professional third party for temperament evaluation. Please fill out an application if you think that you can offer Trudy a forever home.

Surrenders

Here at Rosie Animal Adoption, we understand that the decision to give up a family pet is not always an easy one and that the dog's best interests are always of paramount importance. Whether you have a family pet or a stray to surrender, please be aware that there are many unscrupulous people who are always on the lookout for unaltered dogs to breed strictly for profit. Dogs kept for this purpose, be it by a “backyard breeder” or “puppy miller,” are usually kept in inhumane conditions that are worse than you can imagine. We get many calls from people who are “in a hurry” to re-home their dogs, claiming that they simply cannot wait. With the increasing number of homeless dogs in the province of Quebec , our resources are always stretched to the limit and we do not always have immediate openings. We would ask that you please be patient when contacting our volunteers to surrender a dog.

We will do our best to help you as quickly as we can, and may also be able to refer you to another group that we are affiliated with, but the most important message here is to proceed very cautiously if you are giving away or selling your dog to someone who may be portraying a private individual. The best thing you can do is to be sure to have your pet spayed or neutered and the worse thing you can do is offer an unaltered pet “free to a good home.” We have seen what can happen.
