Ti-Groux the Poodle

About Ti-Groux

Ti-Groux was released from a commercial breeder. He has his freedom! He is a nice but timid. He loves to be cuddled. He is very treat motivated so will come around. He is not clean so needs a belly band till he gets it. This cold weather had not helped us making sure he goes outside. It’s cold for us and for the dogs. He is neutered and has had a big dental. He is NOT suitable for appartments or condos. He is NOT suitable for kids under 12 as he has lived in a cage all his life and never met a child so we dont want to take a chance.
Please apply for Ti-Groux if you have the right home for him!

Surrenders

Here at Rosie Animal Adoption, we understand that the decision to give up a family pet is not always an easy one and that the dog's best interests are always of paramount importance. Whether you have a family pet or a stray to surrender, please be aware that there are many unscrupulous people who are always on the lookout for unaltered dogs to breed strictly for profit. Dogs kept for this purpose, be it by a “backyard breeder” or “puppy miller,” are usually kept in inhumane conditions that are worse than you can imagine. We get many calls from people who are “in a hurry” to re-home their dogs, claiming that they simply cannot wait. With the increasing number of homeless dogs in the province of Quebec , our resources are always stretched to the limit and we do not always have immediate openings. We would ask that you please be patient when contacting our volunteers to surrender a dog.

We will do our best to help you as quickly as we can, and may also be able to refer you to another group that we are affiliated with, but the most important message here is to proceed very cautiously if you are giving away or selling your dog to someone who may be portraying a private individual. The best thing you can do is to be sure to have your pet spayed or neutered and the worse thing you can do is offer an unaltered pet “free to a good home.” We have seen what can happen. Cooper

Cooper is a 5 month old, 8 lb male Italian Greyhound who broke his leg at 2 places and needed surgery. He was surrendered to us as his guardian was not able to provide him with this care which is very expensive. Amputation was not option for this dog. We were not planning on taking on another dog who needed a big surgery but we couldnt let his life end either. Your donations helped to save Cooper’s life. Cooper still needs cage rest for the next 7 weeks. Then we will look for a home for him.
