Robin the Peke mix with many breeds

About Robin

Robin comes to Rosie after many years living in a less than ideal situation. She is very shy and frightened, but is working very hard to overcome her fears. She has a good appetite and has been 99% clean in her foster home. Robin will need someone with a lot of patience and time to help her relax and become the dog she should have been all along. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate. She so deserves a home of her own. Robin has been spayed and fully vaccinated. Please fill out an application if you can give her the love she deserves.

Surrenders

Here at Rosie Animal Adoption, we understand that the decision to give up a family pet is not always an easy one and that the dog's best interests are always of paramount importance. Whether you have a family pet or a stray to surrender, please be aware that there are many unscrupulous people who are always on the lookout for unaltered dogs to breed strictly for profit. Dogs kept for this purpose, be it by a “backyard breeder” or “puppy miller,” are usually kept in inhumane conditions that are worse than you can imagine. We get many calls from people who are “in a hurry” to re-home their dogs, claiming that they simply cannot wait. With the increasing number of homeless dogs in the province of Quebec , our resources are always stretched to the limit and we do not always have immediate openings. We would ask that you please be patient when contacting our volunteers to surrender a dog.

We will do our best to help you as quickly as we can, and may also be able to refer you to another group that we are affiliated with, but the most important message here is to proceed very cautiously if you are giving away or selling your dog to someone who may be portraying a private individual. The best thing you can do is to be sure to have your pet spayed or neutered and the worse thing you can do is offer an unaltered pet “free to a good home.” We have seen what can happen. Foster needed

Foster needed: Yet another Rosie dog needs help. - it never ends❤️❤️ Kobe a 4 mos old Northern Lab mix who arrived at Rosie with parvo. He had been vomiting and had diarrhea. He had never been vaccinated. It’s spring and parvo is awake again….. It has cost Rosie $$$$ again! He was not feeling good at all when he arrived. He is climbing the hill after being treated. He will be released soon. We can only save these dogs with your help! Pls consider donating towards his care. https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/rosie-animal-adoption 🐾🐾We cannot vaccinate Kobe right away. We have to wait. Parvo is highly contagious to unvaccinated dogs or dogs who do not have a good history of vaccinations. They should not mix with other dogs for 1 month. They may only use a backyard. They cannot go for walks till they are no longer shedding parvo! No appartments or condos. House with fenced in yard only.🐾🐾
