Nora

Nora arrived to Rosie Animal Adoption earlier this week. She was a stray from and only 9 weeks old. She arrived quite thin

Her fosters said she is by far one of the best puppies they’ve ever had. She’s clean in the house and sleeps through the night, a bright ,happy puppy.

On Saturday evening she started vomiting and becoming lethargic. Her fosters offered her warmed up canned gastro & chicken but she kept turning her head away. The decision was made that she needed to go to DMV immediately. After waiting several hours @1 am, our worst fear became reality... Nora tested positive for Parvovirus. Parvovirus requires extensive supportive inpatient care and is very expensive to treat. Because of Rosie Animal Adoption’s donors, Nora will be given a chance to beat this virus.

She will be spending the next few days at DMV.

For three days she ate very well. We are hoping and praying that she can beat this. But the odds are not in her favour. Her fosters and Rosie's are just heart broken. This is not how anyone wanted to wrap up the year...

This holiday season please consider making a donation in honour of Nora and please keep her in your thoughts.

Parvovirus lives in the environment, if you are reading this and your dog is not vaccinated please, please do so. By keeping your dog’s vaccines up to date you’ll be preventing them from facing Nora’s reality. She is fighting for her life!
