Cheerio the Terrier mix

About Cheerio
Cherrio is a marvelous pup who given up by a hoarder. Cherrio is very nice and great with people, dogs and cat. Cherrio loves to cuddle. Cherrio is NOT housetrained. It is a process as he was never told that he could do his business in the home. Cherrio needs someone home most of the time who can teach to be clean by bringing him outside and rewarding with a treat with he does his business outside. Only positive training! He is sleeping in a crate with another dog at the moment! He will need to be groomed often like all terrier etc.... cherrio would benefit from positive obedience. Pls do not email us for Cherrio! No condos or appartment living for this guy! Cherrio would be better in a home with a fenced in yard as well as being walked!
Pls fill out an application and we will respond to the best match only!
**Cherrio will be neutered at 5 mos without exception.

Rosie Animal Adoption does not have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved, or at adoption clinics. If you have any questions, please .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). All family members must be present at time of adoption. Please note, we do not adopt strays to families with children under 12.

Surrenders
Here at Rosie Animal Adoption, we understand that the decision to give up a family pet is not always an easy one and that the dog's best interests are always of paramount importance. Whether you have a family pet or a stray to surrender, please be aware that there are many unscrupulous people who are always on the lookout for unaltered dogs to breed strictly for profit. Dogs kept for this purpose, be it by a “backyard breeder” or “puppy miller,” are usually kept in inhumane conditions that are worse than you can imagine. We get many calls from people who are “in a hurry” to re-home their dogs, claiming that they simply cannot wait. With the increasing number of homeless dogs in the province of Quebec , our resources are always stretched to the limit and we do not always have immediate openings. We would ask that you please be patient when contacting our volunteers to surrender a dog.
We will do our best to help you as quickly as we can, and may also be able to refer you to another group that we are affiliated with, but the most important message here is to proceed very cautiously if you are giving away or selling your dog to someone who may be portraying a private individual. The best thing you can do is to be sure to have your pet spayed or neutered and the worse thing you can do is offer an unaltered pet “free to a good home.” We have seen what can happen.
